17 Dec Going Out Public to Share Your Vision and Beliefs Boldly
Recently, I created an Amharic clip highlighting the importance of soft skills for one’s success at home, work, & in marketplaces. To illustrate the crucial role of soft skills, I used two geniuses who had both tech and soft skills: Steve Jobs and Ezedin Kamil.
Someone who didn’t know Ezedin Kamil before watching that video googled and watched his public speech on DAWIT DREAMS. My friend was impressed by this young man’s communication abilities.
But he didn’t think it was a wise idea for Ezedin to expose himself too young, share his vision and beliefs publicly & boldly.
Though I completely understand my friend’s concerns and where he was coming from, he missed some grand truths that govern the universe & this new era.
I strongly believe that young, visionary, & bold geniuses like Ezedin around the world who are now in the background should step up and step forward…
However, I have a couple of disclaimers: Even if Ezedin is in his early 20s and young, he has done his homework. He isn’t winging it, bragging, or showing it off.
In one of his interviews, he mentioned how he learned from one of my favorite performance and endurance gurus- the former Navy SEAL, @David Goggins. This shows that this young inventor and entrepreneur exposed himself to the right teachers.
Ezedin understands the power of visioning and boldly sharing one’s beliefs. The latest scientific discoveries in Neuroplasticity, Psycho Cybernetics, and Psychology back this. To bring forth what isn’t in the physical and tap into the metaphysical and spiritual worlds, one has to employ his/her God-given imagination and unleash the power of WORDS.
These qualities Ezedin manifested are shared among the great ones in diverse cultures, whom I studied for years and wrote two books about. Think about it: If one doesn’t show up and share what she/he believes and sees, how can others know about it, let alone join and support what is in someone’s head?
If one’s desire is to have an undeniable impact and achieve significant results that benefit a great number of people, one MUST take risks, go public, speak, and share PUBLICLY.
We should all leverage what the new era offers. More than ever, we have plenty of platforms to share our initiatives.
By the way, this isn’t relevant ONLY for obscure people who need exposure the most. The world has changed.
The world doesn’t show loyalty to any entity any longer. They want to know, listen, and like the person behind the BRAND. That is why:
1. For the first time, we witnessed Presidential candidates appearing on PODCASTS. For instance, @Donald Trump appeared on my favorite podcasts, Joe Rogan, Patrick Bet-David, and many other podcasts.
2. Elon Musk, the busiest man on the planet, twits multiple times daily.
3. Jeff Bezos, Amazon, and Blue Origin – Newslines used to be quiet and stayed behind the scenes. Now, he is coming out & giving more interviews and showing up on podcasts.
You, too, don’t miss the BOAT!
If you understand Amharic, below is the clip I referred above:
