22 Aug 2-Day Presentation Skills Workshop for Senior Leaders in UT (video narration)
One of the perks of being a learning professional is that I get golden opportunities to meet:
- Wonderful people,
- Visit beautiful cultures,
- Eat delicious foods, and
- See exotic places.
I had such an opportunity this week. My colleagues and I were facilitating a two-day workshop on presentation skills for senior leaders in UT.
What a blast!
Yes, we were there to empower senior leaders who have already succeeded in their respective professions to take their communication abilities on stage and in front of a camera to the next level.
However, we also learned and refined our own communication skills as we worked with the group.
That said, this is my first time to visit UT.
Indeed. I enjoyed hanging out and working with my colleagues and interacting with one of the most dynamic teams I have worked with.
The training was conducted under majestic mountains. It took me back to memory lane, to my years in my hometown of Harar, where we had majestic mountains like these.
In the midst of summer and above 90-degree weather, I didn’t sweat, though I wore a jacket the entire time. The weather was like back home.
I hope to visit UT again soon…
