05 Jun My Interview with The Helen Show of ebs (Amharic)
When I was in the DC Metro area on May 13–14 to facilitate a workshop, I had the opportunity to sit down with Helen Mesfin, Host of The Helen Show on ebs.
When viewers watch The Helen Show and see the polished production, engaging conversations, and the grace and warmth Helen brings to every guest interaction, many may not realize the tremendous amount of work that she and her team invest behind the scenes to deliver such a seamless and empowering program.
Before the interview, Helen took the time to learn about my latest book, Scale to Last. She asked thoughtful questions to fully understand the concepts and framework and explored how they can help Ethiopian small business owners build stronger, more sustainable businesses.
As always, I enjoyed our conversation. Helen is a true professional who consistently brings out the best in her guests, and I look forward to our next discussion.
During the interview, we explored why many well meaning and hardworking entrepreneurs remain stuck in survival mode, what prevents them from scaling effectively, and the practical steps they can take to build a strong foundation for growth, create a business that lasts, position themselves for a successful exit, and preserve the legacy they have worked so hard to build.
I invite you to watch the interview and share your thoughts.
Please share it with founders, family owned businesses, and small business owners who work tirelessly to support their families, create opportunities for others, and strengthen our communities through their passion, commitment, resilience, and perseverance.
If you’re a founder and would like to continue the conversation after watching the interview, feel free to reach out offline. I’d be happy to schedule a Zoom conversation and explore how these ideas may apply to your business.
