A smooth transition of power without bloodshed, after a fierce ‘fight’ to win the PRESIDENCY!

I was glad to see @Kamala Harris conceding gracefully and @Joe Biden facilitating a smooth transition.

Whether you voted for the 47 President of the US or not, the CONTINUATION of this GOLDEN TRADITION is a WIN for ALL Americans and friends of America!

America is a spirit and ideal. Anyone who believes in DEMOCRACY and FREEDOM of SPEECH (two of the top needs of being human) is an American, even if one doesn’t have US citizenship.

Witnessing hell broke loose (crazy things were said and happened) during the Presidential Election season, it felt like the end of the road for America’s democracy…

To be frankly honest, I didn’t care much about the outcome of the election. Given what was going on, I wanted to witness a peaceful transition of power. My preoccupation was the survival of American democracy, not whether a Democrat or a Republican President won.

Given what is going on around the world, this moment is especially important not just for American citizens alone like myself. It is scary to witness countries that had been championing democracy and freedom of speech RETREATING from these IDEALS.

Who thought some European countries would walk away from their decades, sometimes centuries-old traditions? Who thought Romania would cancel a presidential election and Great Britain would crack down on FREEDOM of SPEECH on social media?

Last but not least, this is my hope that @Donald Trump reverses or at least slows down the Doomsday Clock. Right now, it is set at 90 seconds to midnight, a serious threat against humanity.

The nuclear war threat must lower significantly in the next four years. No one wins and comes out victorious from such an exchange…
